Sutter Health RN Resource Nurse (64-N) in Burlingame, California

The Resource Nurse, who, under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor, has continual opportunity to exercise initiative and independent professional judgement, uses the nursing process to provide patient centered nursing care. The Resource Nurse is provided by the Nursing Office to assist in unanticipated increases in workload and staffing assistance. The Resource Nurse is deployed from the Nursing Office to areas of greatest need determined by the Nursing Supervisor. The Resource Nurse shall be in addition to the staffing matrices utilized in staffing nursing units. This care is performed as a part of customer focused, service oriented team that incorporates the values of Mills Peninsula Hospitals in a confidential environment. Integrates the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and the Patients' Bill of Rights into nursing practice.

Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; California R.N. license. BLS and ACLS certification. Minimum three years experience in an acute care setting. Must be able to provide and interpret EKG's; minimum one year experience with procedures with moderate sedation. Must meet MPHS Standards of behavior
