Sutter Health Radiology Technologist II (Full Time, PM Shift) in Los Banos, California

Under the direction of a Radiologist or the Department Manager performs radiographic procedures of a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative.

Serving Merced County Westside area with 48 care beds, the facility is part of Memorial Hospitals Association and Sutter Health, a not-for-profit organization that exists to maintain and improve the health status of citizens in its geographic area. Memorial Hospital Los Banos provides and promotes effective inpatient and outpatient health care services including 24-hour Emergency Care, Rural Health Clinic, Surgery, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Diagnostics Imaging, and Intensive Care Unit and Physical Therapy.

  • Mimimum Qualifications: *

  • Ability to read, write, hear, and verbally communicate to the degree required to perform the job.

  • Current California Radiologic Technologist License.

  • Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiological Technology training program in an AMA approved school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT.

  • Registry with the ARRT.

  • Two (2) years experience in an acute care setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A.S. degree in Ragiologic Technology in an AMA approved program.
