Under the direction of a radiologist or supervisor, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility procedures as required. May have individual responsibility for specified radiographic procedures.

Qualifications

Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.

Experience: Competent in components of radiographic practice as determined to be adequate by the Assistant Director.

Certificates/Licensure : California Registered Technologist License (CRT); California Fluoroscopy License; ARRT Certified; Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals
