Sutter Health Lead EVS Assistant (FT nights) in Burlingame, California
An Environmental Assistant Lead will perform all the essential functions of an Environmental Assistant I but with the added responsibility of maintaining staffing levels for the department and will take lead responsibility for responding to patient, customer and staff concerns.
Grammar school or equivalent required, high school graduate preferred. General education level must be sufficient to understand and comprehend hospital and department policy and basic technical information on the safe use of a variety of commercial housekeeping devices, chemicals, and miscellaneous products and supplies.
Minimum 2 years work experience preferred as a housekeeping assistant in a healthcare environment, or some combination of experience and training which has a provided basic technical knowledge of various aspects of healthcare institutional housekeeping highly desirable.
Ability to convey information to other employees for performance improvement
Ability to clearly write and document incidents or staff concerns
Ability to lead and motivate staff in a positive and professional manner
Basic computer skills to include keyboarding, mouse movement and data entry skills to internal systems
