Sutter Health Dietitian - SIPS II Infusion Pharmacy in California


This position is responsible for providing nutritional consultation services to patients, referral sources and SIPS staff in order to facilitate and maintain enteral and TPN according to initial screening protocols for enteral and TPN or at the request of the physician or case manager to ensure that these patients who are at risk have been assessed and treated according to nutritional standards of care for enteral and TPN therapies. Dietary plans are developed with consideration of patient/family emotional, social, environmental and economic patterns.



• Four year degree in dietetics or related field of study

• Completion of an American Dietetic Association approved internship program

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR)

Preferred requirements:

• Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian

• Certified Diabetes Educator


Minimum of 2 years experience in home infusion enteral and TPN nutritional assessments and providing formula recommendations to clinicians.


Must have specialized knowledge and clinical thinking ability to effectively plan and provide patient care consistent with nutrition practice standards and regulations.
