Sutter Health Nursing Supervisor - Per Diem Variable Shift in Castro Valley, California

Description

Responsible for providing clinical supervision and direction to the nursing staff on the evening or night shift. The Resource Nurse is skilled in problem solving and crisis intervention and serves as the representative of Administration in the operation of the hospital during non-business hours. The Resource Nurse has strong clinical skills and a sound knowledge base as a nurse generalist.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Education: BSN.

Minimum Experience: Previous clinical experience in area of expertise, minimum 3-5 yrs experience in an acute case setting.

Preferred Experience: Prefer ED or Critical Care background.

Licensure/Certification: Current CA RN license, CPR & ACLS Certification.
