Sutter Health Physical Therapist II - Inpatient - Per Diem in Castro Valley, California

Eden Medical Center of Sutter Health, delivers comprehensive, award-winning care, offering our patients the convenience and quality they deserve. The hospital has 130 beds, all in private rooms. Eden is the regional trauma center for Southern Alameda County and features many centers of excellence, including neurosciences, orthopedics, rehabilitation, birthing center, imaging, stroke and cancer care.

The Physical Therapist II assesses, plans, organizes and participates in rehabilitative programs that improve or maintain individuals' mobility and function, for persons with movement disorders or deficits resulting from illness, injury, disability, or disease.

Qualifications

Education, Licensures and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required or Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy preferred.

  • Basic Life Support Certification - BLS required upon hire.

  • California Physical Therapist License required upon hire.

Experience:

  • Minimum two years of experience as a Physical Therapist with two years in the relevant therapy setting required OR minimum six years of experience as a Physical Therapist required if less than two years in the relevant setting.
