Sutter Health Radiologic Technologist, Multi Specialty - CT required (On Call, Varied) in Castro Valley, California
Performs general diagnostic examinations as well as functioning in a minimum of one additional specialty area.
Performs a variety of duties in preparing neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients for the technical component of imaging and treatment of particular organs to furnish diagnostic information. Operates Imaging equipment to produce the images. Provides support and training assistance as well as functioning in all aspects of position. Assists the Lead and Department in maintenance of equipment and QA/QC program(s) for meeting regulatory and accreditation and re-accreditation. Serves as department liaison.
Minimum Education : Completion of an Accredited Radiology Technology Program
Preferred Education: Associates degree or higher
Minimum Experience: Additional 12 months in specialty area preferred
Preferred Experience 12 months hospital setting
Licensure/Certification: ARRT Certification and Maintenance CRT State of California Registration. California Fluoroscopy license within 12 months of hire if applicable. Minimum of one additional CT Certification required within 12 months of hires. Current Mammography certification required if applicable. JCERT approval for Student Site Coordinator.
Venipuncture Certification if applicable.
Courses/Training: AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology
