Sutter Health Registered Nurse II - Step Down/Neuroscience Unit Part Time Night Shift in Castro Valley, California


Coordinates professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines; maintains standards of professional practice.


Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Education: BSN

Minimum Experience: One year previous clinical experience in area of expertise.

Previous experience with Telemetry and hemodynamic monitoring.

Preferred Experience: One year previous critical care or step down experience. Trauma background preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Current California RN license; BCLS & ACLS required.

CNRN upon hire or within 2 years of hire/transfer.

Courses/Training: Must take and successfully complete the Nat'l League of NSG Med Admin exam during probationary period.
