Sutter Health Therapeutic Dietitian - Per Diem in Castro Valley, California
Monitors nutritional care of patients of all ages including neonatal,pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Manages physician ordered therapeutic diets and provides nutritional education to patients at multiple locations. Directs, supervises and coordinates diet office activities.
Bachelor's Degree in Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics required.
Licensures and Certifications:
Registered Dietitian - RD required.
2-3 years as a clinical dietitian in an acute or rehabilitation facility preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
Administrative: Answer telephones, balance figures, compile statistics, compose letters/memorandums, coordinate events, coordinate meetings, develop office procedures, input data into computer programs, maintain logs, proofread documents, research information, schedule appointments
Machine: Adding machine, CRT, calculator, computer peripheral equipment, fax, fax modem, personal computer, photocopier, typewriter, word processor
