Sutter Health Facilities Engineer I (Fremont) in Fremont, California
Under general direction performs work of average to considerable difficulty in the journey-level performance of Healthcare Facility maintenance to include the primary field of electrical, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, plumbing, and performs other tasks as assigned.
REQUIRED: graduate of a recongnized Facility Maintenance Engineer Apprentice Program or equivalent training and experience through service in the military or trade school; MECH certification required within three (3) years from date of hire; progression to Facilities Engineer II after three (3) years as a Facilities Engineer I based on performance and certification as Healthcare Mechanic (MECH) or receipt of Building Operator certification from recognized organization such as BOMA; must have and maintain a clean driving record (minimum of a class C California drivers license); willing and able to travel to various PAMF/Sutter locations
PREFERRED: journey-level certification or MECH (Certification as a Healthcare Facility Mechanic)
