Sutter Health Echocardiographer, Registered/Non-registered - Cardiology EKG (Short Hr, Day) in Oakland, California

Description

Performs 2-D M-mode and cardiac Doppler, exercise echo and TEE procedures. Assists in preparation of contrast studies.

Performs clerical duties. Enters charges for services and prepares reports. Provides after hour and weekend coverage on a rotational basis.

*Saturday/Sunday every other weekend*

Qualifications

Education

AA degree from school of Cardiovascular Technology

preferred.

Minimum two years college or training at approved

school of Cardiovascular Technology required.

Licensures and Certifications

Basic Life Support Certification - BLS required

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - RDCS required

Experience

Minimum 1 year experience as Cardiology technician in Cardiac and/or Echocardiography service required.

Experience performing Treadmill, Holter and SAECG studies preferred.
