Under the direction of a radiologist of supervisor, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
Certificate of completion of radiologic technical training from an AMA approved institution. One to six months staff technologist experience. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology certification. Current State of California Radiologic Technology certification. Current certification in mammography. Current CPR certificate. Current Fluoroscopy certification preferred. Ability to calculate figures and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively.
