Sutter Health Social Worker-Psychiatry-Palo Alto in Palo Alto, California
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Palo Alto Dept. of Psychiatry provides various modes of psychotherapy to patients with diverse clinical presentations and is expected to conduct initial assessments, formulate and implement appropriate treatment plans. The position demands excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. LCSW license required to provide treatment to patients with Medicare benefits.
REQUIRED: Master's in Social Work (MSW) or related field; must have current CA license in Social Work; licensed at least 5 years as Licensed Clinical Social Worker/LMFT. At least 5 years experience providing clinical assessments and psychotherapy to clients with diverse clinical presentations, including children, adolescents, adults and older adults. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
PREFERRED: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); experience providing child psychotherapy; previous experience using EPIC electronic medical record.
