Sutter Health Chief Medical Executive, Health Plan Products in Sacramento, California
The Chief Medical Executive, Health Plan Products has overall responsibility for providing clinical leadership and direction in the areas of utilization, case management, disease management, quality improvement and pharmacy management to ensure high quality, cost effective health care services for Commercial (i.e., SHP, Sutter Select), and, potentially, Medicare and MediCal products and their related populations. Oversees accreditation and compliance activities to achieve national quality standards. Oversees implementation of Corrective Action Plans as necessary for delegated functions.
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
MD and California unrestricted license required.
A minimum of 5 years of health plan experience as a medical director with demonstrated experience in quality, delegation oversight, HEDIS performance, care management and utilization management. Strategic experience or program implementation experience required.
