Sutter Health Integrated Security Systems Program Manager in Sacramento, California

The Integrated Security Systems Program Manager is responsible for implementing the Department of Protective Services (DPS) Technology Roadmap and Security Technology Program. This position will have direct oversight for the deployment of new technology platforms for across the entire Sutter Enterprise System. This position will manage the design of enterprise level systems to include access control, visitor management, video management systems, RFID inventory controls, incident reporting software, CAD/RMS, and intrusion detection systems. Responsible for functionality and on-going operation of the Integrated Security Systems across the Sutter Health Enterprise consisting of approximately 650 facilities. Serves at Subject Matter Expert for Enterprise Level Integrated Security Technology. Manages strategic projects for developing and maintaining physical security capabilities across the Sutter System.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Security Management, Business, or like-field that contributes to desired competencies required or equivalent education/experience.

Master's degree in Information Technology Security Management or like-field preferred

Licensure

Certifications in Electronic Security Systems including Access Control and Video Management upon hire required.

Information Technology Certifications, Cisco Certified Network Administrator, CompTIA, or equivalent upon hire preferred.

Project Management Professional (PMP), Physical Security Proffesional (PSP) upon hired preferred.

Experience

6-9 years Designing and implementing Enterprise Integrated Security Systems required.

6-9 years Business integration experience, bringing new products, new services and new clients into an existing operation required.

3-5 years Experience deploying Enterprise level Technology Platforms across a wide geographical area preferred.

3-5 years Managing team of technology personal and projects managers preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

Deep knowledge of electronic security systems including Video Management, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Visitor Management, CAD/RMS.

Vast background in the information technology field and network architecture

Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, Database tools

Ability to provide constructive feedback to team members to support continuous improvement

Ability to identify training needs and encourage training for team members

Ability to drive and maintain employee engagement

Demonstrated ability to set priorities and to respond to changing demands from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to follow through, meet deadlines, anticipate requirements and build relationships.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requires the ability to exercise independent judgment and employ higher order reasoning skills.
