Sutter Health Manager, Philanthropy Technology in Sacramento, California


The Philanthropy Technology Manager manages activities related to the design, implementation, administration, maintenance, and support of the philanthropy technology and data environment including solution development, system administration, data management, reporting, and business intelligence. This position identifies and uses industry-leading technology to improve operational efficiency and facilitate, manage, and execute new services, applications, changes, and deployments. The Philanthropy Technology Manager is responsible for efforts with data systems including databases, data warehouses, applications, and tools, and oversees the timely and accurate production of ad hoc and recurring reports and advanced data analysis. They are a self-starter and are responsible for staying abreast of technologies and implementing new or evolving uses, tools, and systems.

Primary responsibilities include:

Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent education/experience


Statistical/data/predictive modeling, Business Intelligence, data reporting/visualization

  • Data integration, data warehouses/marts, ETL solutions

  • Application development/administration/integration/support

Relevant work experience as typically acquired in 7 to 10 years required

Experience leading technical efforts
