Sutter Health Nursing Assistant - Neuro (LIMITED-TERM, Full-Time, Night Shift) in Sacramento, California


The Nurse Assistant provides direct patient care.


Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nurse assistant is preferred and in long term care is required.

Experience: CNA or equivalent experience required.

Knowledge: Demonstrates basic nurse assistant skills. Demonstrates effective English written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates basic math skills. Demonstrates knowledge of basic medical terminology.

Special Skills/Equipment: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification "for healthcare providers". Completion of hospital orientation. Knowledge of legal policies relating to reporting abuse , chain of command, and advance directive issues. Completion of unit specific orientation.
