Sutter Health Physical Therapy Assistant-PM&R* in San Francisco, California

Description

This position implements specific treatment plans (as developed by a Registered Physical Therapist) and documents therapy progress notes for individual patients. Practices in accordance with Physical Therapy Standards of Practice, JCAHO, Title 22, and the Policies and Procedures of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapy Assistants.

  • California licensed physical therapist assistant or California license applicant.

  • Participation in professional organization is desirable.

Knowledge:

  • One continuing education course for each year of practice is desirable.

  • Maintains current CPR Certification.

Experience:

  • Minimum years of experience: Licensed new graduate.

  • Hire in position.
