Sutter Health Physician Assistant – Surgical Services, Orthopedics in San Francisco, California


Under direct supervision of the Medical Director of Surgical Services, this position provides a broad range of support to the Surgical Services and Orthopedic Surgical patients.Principal responsibilities include; clinical and surgical care of the pre, intra op and post surgicaland orthopedic patients.

Additional duties include maintaining patient/family/support interactions, acting as liaison to hospitalist, Emergency Room physicians and intensivists, and clinical care of surgical patients and orthopedic patients. Will be administratively accountable to the Director of Surgical Services, Mission Bernal Campus regarding these and other surgical services related activities.



Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with an active California License.

Skills & Abilities:

Must have strong communication and organizational skills. On-call required.

Flexible work hours are required.


Previous surgical experience with orthopedic and general surgery is strongly preferred.
