Sutter Health Radiologic Technologist (Mammography)-Breast Health Center* in San Francisco, California
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Under the direction of the director of theBreastHealthCenter, Imaging Services, and the supervision of the department manager, performs breast imaging procedures on adult and geriatric patients at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that requires independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in applying ionizing radiation for a radiologic diagnosis. Is assigned responsibility for designated areas of procedures as required.
Education: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. Must be certified by the California Department of Health Services as a Certified Radiologic Technologist. Must have National Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. Must have California State Mammography Licensure.
Knowledge: Highly motivated and organized individuals who can balance patient care, productivity and radiation safety.
Experience: Accept new graduates.
