Sutter Health Surgical Technologist I- Per Diem in San Francisco, California
Assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the department and hospital to assure quality patient care.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of a formal accredited Operating Room Technician program required.
Two years scrubbing experience preferred
AHA BLS certification required
Certification from NBSTSA preferred
Skills & Knowledge :
Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment and supplies.
Requires strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills
Requires flexibility to accomodate emergencies as well as changing schedules and priorites.
