POSITION SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision, performs routine service duties and basic nursing procedures necessary to provide care, comfort and safety to patient. Complies with and participates in JCAHO Patient Safety Initiatives. Incumbent has access to Protected Health Information as needed to accomplish the duties in this job description, which includes the entire medical record.

Qualifications

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education, including Licensure / Registration / Certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Current Certified Nurses Assistant certificate required

  • Current AHA BLS/CPR certificate required

Experience

  • Acute hospital experience preferred.
