Sutter Health Imaging Services Representative II -Santa Cruz (FT) in Santa Cruz, California
Working with and under the direction of the Diagnostic Imaging Services Manager / Director to provide complete communication, scheduling and image management for the purpose of delivering quality healthcare to our patients.
Principal accountabilities include:
Greets patients for Imaging Services
Uses Radiology Information System to register, schedule and track patient’s information
Receives and confirms radiographic requests
High school diploma or equivalent required.1-2 years of relevant job experience preferred
Formal training in medical reception through technical schools, junior college or correspondence courses, preferred.
Six months experience in a medical facility preferred
Verbal and written communication skills for frequent contact with physicians, employees, patients and patient families; requires patience and compassion
Ability to effectively mentor and/or develop others
Ability to type 30 wpm.
