Sutter Health RN -Endoscopy/Special Procedures - Santa Cruz (Per Diem) in Santa Cruz, California


Responsible and accountable for planning, and organizing the delivery of quality patient care in the Endoscopy Suite. Reports to the Endoscopy Supervisor. Maintains the documentation of patient care accordance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory agency requirements. Serves as patient advocate.

Prinicpal accountabilities include:

  • Plans and provides safe age appropriate patient care based on nursing assessment, diagnosis, patient needs, test results, physician orders and other pertinent information.

  • Collaborates with physicians to prioritize treatment and medication. This includes evaluation of the pre-op patient, pre-op teaching and administration of medications including starting IV fluids in a timely manner.



  1. Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

  2. Currently licensed as an RN in the State of California.

  3. 4 years of recent experience in an acute care setting.

  4. Current BLS and ACLS.
