Sutter Health Cook (Per-Diem) - Day/Evening in Yuba City, California

Description

Under the supervision of the Dietary Supervisor, the cook is responsible for preparing and serving meals according to cycle menus. He/she monitors methods of food handling, preparation, meal service and equipment cleaning.

High School or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience is preferred.

•Must be able to successfully complete the Food Protection Manager Certification/Serve Safe examination within 60 days of employment.

• Ability to relate and work effectively with others

• Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.

• Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for professional advancement and that of others.
